In My Mailbox (1)

So this is my first In My Mailbox hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren, sorry I've been trying to add the link but it's not working but I'm sure you all have heard if not follow Kristi. I've never really had a reason to be apart of this meme but I always loved to watch and read what everyone else got in there mailboxes. To do an In My Mailbox you usually need to recieve an ARC, buy some books, go to the library and get some books, or win some books. Since I'm not in the position, hopefully yet, to recieve ARc's and I don't usually win and I'm also usually broke all the time so I do not buy books to often anymore. But this week I did get some things and I'm really excited for them so I thought that I'd share. Hope you all enjoy!

For Review from Netgalley:

Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
I found this book very early this year and I loved the summery. I can't tell you how hard I tried to get an early copy of this book and I finally found a way! I just couldn't wait for this book and when I found out there was a way that I could at least read it I jumped without thought, and now I can read it!

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
This is another book that I saw and couldn't wait for. So I'm really excited for the chance to read it! Plus I love angels!

The Mermaid's Mirror by L.K. Madigan
This is a book I also wanted. I'm really excited that there are books about mermaids coming out, I've always loved the idea of them. So why shouldn't they be in my most favorite things in the world, meaning books?

The Lipstick Laws by Amy Holder
This book has been on my TBR list for a long time and I'm really excited for this book. Sometimes I just need to be pulled away from my paranormal romance books so this definitly fits. It sounds very evil chick lit-like and I'm excited to read it.

Once in a Full Moon by Ellen Schreiber
Again on my TBR list for a while. This fits the werewolf paranormal romance books that I love.

The Abused Werewolf Rescue Group by Catherine Jinks
I love werewolves too! This book seems like it's going to be full of action and adventure which I think I need after all my romances, but I can still hope maybe there will be a little romance in there. This has also been on my TBR list for a while.

WON! From Vampire Book Club

Twelfth Grade Kills by Heather Brewer
I finally won something! I must enter a bunch of contest, but I know a lot of other people do to but yes! I finally won! There's sort of a funny story behind this book. This is my brother's favorite book series, well actually these are the only books in the world that he likes. So when he found out I won it he was kind of mad. I've been meaning to start this book series for a while so I've moved the first one up on my to-read-pile. I think I may be keeping it though, since it was signed by the author. I also recieved a signed Vampire Book Club bookmark, which is very pretty! So thanks to Chelsea over at vampirebookclub.net!

Bought!
Yes, I know after that whole "I'm broke and don't buy books anymore", well not that often and this was my first book-buy in a while.

Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers
I actually got all of these books last Sat. and I just finished this book yesterday and let me tell you all, it was amazing! As said before I love angels but I also love demons. This book was really great with the whole angel demon aspect. I also love that there are two hot guys, one of course being and angel and the other a demon. Though I still can't pick a team, Luc or Gabe. I love them both! So look for a review on this one soon.

Bitten by R.L. Stine
I read the first book a while ago, mmmmm....8th grade I think. Oh this is a bind-up by the way. So, a friend recomended it to me back in 8th grade and I liked it a lot. So when I say this book at Barnes and Noble I was debating whether or not to get it and I decided why not? So looking forward to rereading and finishing the series.

The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa
Last but not least! I love love love The Iron King so naturally I had to get the second book and continue the series. I can't wait to read this book but I do still have to read the in-between book, I don't remember what it's called. But I'm so excited to continue with Meghan and Ash! Yes, this one I know what team I'm on!

Okay so those were all the books that I've recieved this week. It was pretty exciting! I hope this post wasn't to long but I tend to have long everythings. This will probably be the only in my mailbox for a long long time. So I hope you all enjoyed! If you got anything let me know in the comments!

  1. Nice books! I really want to read Iron Daughter. I've been wondering about NetGallery. Do they send you a hard copy of the book, or is it just a computer version of it? I can't decide if I want to join or not, and I think I'd be more persuaded if they sent that actual book!

  2. Thanks Kelly. I know what you mean about the sending actual books. Unfortunatly 99.9% of the time they just give you a version for your computer or kindle. I know that someone got a paperback version but that's very rare apparently. I too wanted an actual copy of the book(s) but oh well. The reason I joined was because they had some books, like Angelfire, that I'd been trying to get and I really wanted to read it.

  3. oh darn I was really hoping they gave some actual copies, but it sounds nice to be able to get ARC's. Might have to do it anyway! I look forward to your review of Angelfire. I really want to read it too! And thanks for answering my question!

  4. Of course! I'll always try to answer any questions. I know, I was hoping to but as said before, oh well. I think it's a good place to read that one book that you just can't wait to read. :)
