In My Mailbox (2)

In my mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
All the books I got this week were bought. I know that I said that I'm pretty much broke at this point but there were two books I absolutely needed to buy this week. Plus I had a 30% all hardcover coupon so I thought why not.

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
I absolutely had to get this book. I loved Hush Hush and have been waiting for this book to come out for about a year. I was actually sick on Friday so I stayed home from school and waited for my package to get here. I was so excited! I've already started and am about 120 pages into it. I was actually a little scared to read it because I knew Hush Hush was meant to be a stand-alone novel so I was worried that it wouldn't be as good and maybe ruin Hush Hush. Thankfully I have a love hate relationship going on with it right now, but it's definitely more love because I'm pretty sure the hate part will be resolved, I really hope at least. But I'm really liking it.

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
This is the other book that I needed. I've heard so much about it from other bloggers and by watching the Shay videos. I'm still trying to figure out what those videos have to do with the books and what the clues have to do with it too. It sounds so good and I can't wait to read it! The cover is really beautiful too. The pages are really cool too because they remind me of an older book with the uneven pages, if you know what I mean. It's also really tall so there's going to be a lot of story to it! OK, now I'm just blabbing away.

Paranormalcy by kiersten white
This book was just the book that got me over the $25 free shipping mark. I've also heard lots of good things about this book so I'm excited to read it but it's still taking a backseat to the other two. But it does look really good. Plus, I've never heard of werewolves, faeries, shapeshifters, and mermaids together. I mean mermaids with all the other paranormal beings! So cool!

  1. ahh so jealous I went to the bookstore today, and saw Nightshade and Paranormalcy. They were beautiful. There's something about a Hardback book that just looks better. Really wishing I had gotten them now lol. Also, I really loved the edges of the pages to NightShade!

This is an award free blog. I unfortunatly don't have the time to honor the wonderful awards out there.
